KKR begins the second tender offer at ¥9,451/share

Finanznachrichten News

WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) – KKR & Co. Inc. (KKR), announced on Friday the decision to conduct a second tender offer at a price of 9,451 yen per share, after receiving support from Fuji Soft Inc. regarding the offer.

The decision comes as the company completed the initial public offering, in which it acquired approximately 21.4 million shares and stock options totaling 718,600 common shares on a conversion basis, becoming the largest shareholder of Fuji Soft.

Notably, the company has raised its offer price to ¥9,451 per share as it expects to improve the privatization process of Fuji Soft’s shares.

The board also decided to oppose the proposal from Bain Capital, the company said.

Currently, KKR’s stock is trading at $149.65, down 0.58 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
