Firefly Press has written on AJ Clack’s Lie or Die: Blood Moonthe sequel to Lie down or die.

Publisher Penny Thomas acquired UK, Commonwealth and North American rights from Saskia Leach at the Kate Nash Literary Agency for publication in autumn 2025.

In the sequel, Kass returns and has been blackmailed into competing on the reality show “Blood Moon”. The synopsis continues: “Lured to a mysterious castle location, Kass discovers that contestants will go to extreme lengths for fame, fortune and revenge, and that far from being on the run, Lie down or die the killer has prepared a deadly comeback. Kass has only three nights on the Blood Moon to identify the werewolves and save her friends.” Leach called the novel “The Traitors” meets “Squid Game”.

Editor Hayley Fairhead said: “Clack has done it again with this reality TV thriller that’s even deadlier than the last.”
