A splash of holiday magic can make anything happen – it can even make a music legend go multi-platinum Stevie Nicks in the recording studio with retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. It’s the season.

The pair teamed up for an unlikely duet of Ron Sexsmith’s “Maybe This Christmas,” the latest release from the Kelce-led album Philly Specials A special Christmas party for Phillyout November 22. On the single, Kelce and Nicks present an extensive Christmas wish list. But they are less interested in material things this year. Instead, the couple asks for forgiveness, hope and gratitude.

“Maybe this Christmas will mean something more/Maybe this year love will emerge/Deeper than ever before,” they sing. “And maybe forgiveness will ask us to call/Someone we love, someone we’ve lost/For reasons we can’t quite remember/Maybe this Christmas.”

“There are no words to describe how incredible it is to have Stevie Nicks on this record,” executive producer Conner Barwin said in a statement. “There’s so much emotion in this song, and it was exciting to be in the studio with them and see her and Jason come together, be creative together, and see this beautiful song come to life.”

Charlie Hall, who produced and performed as drummer on the record, added: “I really hoped that this song would resonate with Jason when we were looking around for ideas for this record, and it’s clear from the way he inhabits the beautiful melody that it did. And to have Stevie Nicks, one of the all-time masters of emotional delivery (and one of my heroes), come in and amplify all of that. I love this duet so much.”

Nicks already has her gift guide ready for the holidays. “I like designing blankets. Cashmere blankets are my favorite thing,” she told me recently Rolling Stone. “That’s what I buy for my friends if it’s a special occasion. I bought Travis Kelce a blanket.” The musician has a sweet spot for Travis, who has been dating Taylor Swift for the past year. She has a sweet spot for her, too. She hasn’t taken off the friendship bracelet Swift gave her since she got it last year .

“She’s really smart, but she’s also been through a lot before. She’s in a good place right now, and I think she’s got a good man,” Nicks added. “I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset. He does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have kids if she wants to. I just want all that for her.”
