BELVIDERE, Ill. (WIFR) – Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) and Lyfe Cannabis Dispensary have teamed up again for one of the blood center’s most successful blood drives: Bleed for Weed.

From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, the RRVBC Belvidere location, 1740 S. State St., will host the blood drive.

To motivate the community to donate blood, donors can choose one of two free gifts from Lyfe Cannabis Dispensary: ​​an eighth flower or a 100 mg gum.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are highly recommended for this drive as the last few have seen great success in collecting life-saving blood donations. To book an appointment, you can go to RRVBC.orgdownload myRRVBC app or call 815-965-8751.
