Peel Regional Police are warning the public about a chemical spill in Mississauga.

Officers say the incident happened on Timberlea Boulevard, near Tomken Road and Eglinton Avenue.

Emergency personnel went to the scene and took two people to hospital as a precaution.

Police urge the public to avoid the area.
