Winter ID Camp for Men’s Football – UK Athletics

For the competitive soccer player looking to play at the collegiate level, this program will introduce you to all aspects of the collegiate game including:

  • Technical and tactical training sessions
    • Talk about the College Recruitment process
    • 11 v 11 and small-sided competitive games
    • Extensive use of UK Athletics facilities

HOW TO REGISTER

Winter ID Camp is open to male soccer players ages 9th grade and up. Registration can only be done online. Campers will receive a confirmation email. Registration takes place on a first-come, first-served basis and the number of places is limited. There will be a waiting list if capacity is reached. The number of goalkeeper participants will be limited to 15, with a waiting list afterwards.

A $50.00 deposit is required to hold your spot

Credit cards are accepted for online registration only.

PERSONALLY: Cash or personal or cashier’s/certified checks are accepted only to pay remaining balances.

MEDICAL INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

The University of Kentucky requires:
1. Proof of a physical, dated within one year of the camp. (The physical can be sent separately from the application or presented to the camp coach at check-in.). A medical certificate is acceptable in lieu of a physical.
2. A copy of the front and back of the mobile home health insurance card.

REFUND POLICY

All non-Covid-19 cancellations see below:

The $50 non-refundable deposit will be retained if a non-covid 19 refund request is made more than 5 days prior to the start of camp. A non-COVID refund requested within 5 days of camp will result in no refund. Please note that once a camper is registered, full accommodations are made on their behalf, such as access to the facility, insurance, jerseys, equipment, and coaches’ salaries. Any time up to the camp start date, a full refund will be issued with the inclusion of a medical certificate.

CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING

Football, shin guards, football boots/shoes, goalkeeper gloves if needed, water bottle and suitable clothes for outdoor training. All personal items must be tagged.

FOOD

Due to covid-19 restrictions, each participant is responsible for their own food and accommodation.

All 4-year NCAA transfers must be in the transfer portal prior to attending this camp. If you are an NAIA transfer, we must have permission from your school’s administration to contact you before participating in this camp.

NCAA rules prohibit payment of camp expenses (camp tuition, transportation, spending money, etc.) to prospects (9th grade and up) by University of Kentucky boosters. NCAA rules also prohibit free or reduced camp admission for prospects. If you have any questions, notify camp officials before attending camp. University of Kentucky camps and clinics are open to all participants (limited only by number, age, grade and/or gender).
