THE LORD, Ill. (KFVS) – Illinois band “Rick Linton and the Egyptian Combo” will perform in Williamson County on Friday.

On Friday, November 15 at 2 p.m., Herrin’s very own rock band will perform at Herrin city library.

According to the library, everyone is welcome to come out and meet the rock band the United States hired to help win the Vietnam War.

The band was recently highlighted in Rolling Stone magazine.

The event is presented by the Herrin History Room and is free and open to the public.
