Prithviraj Sukumarans’Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life’, one of his most acclaimed films, hit theaters earlier this year. The film was a box office success and also won many awards. AR Rahman is the film’s music director, and now the film has become an official entry to Hollywood music in the Media Awards (HMMA) 2024.
Rahman has been nominated in two categories. The first is for Best song in a feature film for his tracks”Periyone“, is sung by Jithin Raj. Rafeeq Ahmed wrote the lyrics to the song.
The second nomination is in the category of Best Score for an Independent Film (Foreign Language) for the background score of “Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life”. The Hollywood Music in Media Awards celebrate original music used in movies, TV, games and more. The ceremony will take place on November 20 in Los Angeles, with big names such as Elton John, Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams. Famous composers such as Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams will also be part of the event.

“Aadujeevitham” also featured Jimmy Jean-Louis, KR Gokul and Amala Paul in important roles.
