It’s time for Deadlock to introduce an arachnophobia setting as its latest hero can unleash “a wave of spectral spiders” on enemies

Lots of new heroes have been introduced too deadlock Hero Labs over the past few weeks, including Slork, Holliday and Viper, but the latest addition might be the game’s most controversial – as his entire kit revolves around creepy crawlies that people aren’t usually too fond of.

Available to play in Hero Labs now, Trapper has a kit not too dissimilar to heroes like Kelvin and Viscous, as it is largely used to stun enemies and heal allies. When cast, Trapper’s first ability, Bottled Phantasmicide, leaves a pool of poison on the floor, which can damage enemies over time and slow them if they walk through it. His next ability, Silktrap, also restricts players’ movement by creating a thread of netting between two surfaces that, if an enemy walks through, will slow them down and deal damage. The third ability, called Pest Barrier, supports teammates by giving them +200 spirit shield health.
