Limited tickets left for Lynyrd Skynyrd charity concert

BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – Tickets are sold out for the Rock ‘N’ Support benefit concert featuring Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Famers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, with special guest Marcus King held at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, Friday Nov. 15.

100% of the proceeds from Rock ‘N’ Support benefit concert will support Gulf Island hospitality workers who have been displaced due to the recent effects of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

“When we got the call, we were excited to jump on board,” Lynyrd Skynyrd singer Johnny Van Zant said. “The band is a Florida band, and our manager also lives in Sarasota County. So we have family, friends and a lot of fans that are affected by these storms. If we can raise some money for those in need and take people away for a night of great music, hopefully it’s a ‘win-win’ and brings some comfort to the community, so LET’S GO!’.”

All proceeds from the event will benefit two local non-profit organizations, Shuckin’ Good Cause and Center for the Anna Maria Islands Hurricane Relief Fund.

Displaced hospitality workers will then be able to apply for grant assistance through the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association.
