Starbucks will no longer charge extra for non-dairy milk

(CNN) — It will soon be cheaper to order almond milk with your latte at Starbucks.

The coffee chain announced customers will no longer have to pay extra to add non-dairy milk to their orders.

Starbucks says customers who order dairy-free milk will now pay 10% less for their drink.

The change comes into effect on November 7.

Non-dairy milk is the second most common order change at Starbucks, just behind adding a shot of espresso.

The elimination of the surcharge won’t be the only change customers will soon see at Starbucks.

The company also announced this week that it will remove its controversial olive oil drinks from its menu early next month.
