The 2024 general election is Tuesday, and the state’s early voting and mail-in voting statistics show more than 6 million voters in Florida have already voted. Their decisions are made, but millions more will vote and we won’t know the results of the presidential election for several days.

Two months of national polls showed Vice President Kamala Harris with a slight lead, but former President Donald Trump has been gains ground and also took the lead in some of the crucial swing states that are likely to decide the race.

Is it too late to register to vote in Florida?

If you are a registered voter, early voting is still available until Saturday, November 2 in most counties and Sunday, November in others. If you are not registered to vote, the deadline was October 7 for the 2024 general election.
