Disney+ streaming release date revealed

After breaking records at the box office during the summer, Deadpool & Wolverine will finally make its streaming debut next month. On Wednesday, Disney and Marvel Studios announced it Deadpool & Wolverine coming to Disney+ on November 12.

In addition to the film, the Disney+ release will also feature filmmaker commentary by director, producer and writer Shawn Levy and star Ryan Reynolds.

“Marvel Studios presents its most significant mistake to date – Deadpool & Wolverine,” reads the synopsis. “A listless Wade Wilson toils in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary Deadpool behind him. When his home world faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit up again with an even more reluctant… more reluctant? Reluctant? He have to convince a reluctant Wolverine to… oh hell, just watch the movie. Synopses are stupid.”

The Multiverse Saga has seen far more lows than highs for Marvel Studios, however Deadpool & Wolverine felt like a return to form. Its 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes is higher than four of the last six MCU films, including Marvel’s and Thor: Love and Thunder.

To celebrate the R-rated film’s arrival on Disney+, Marvel pulls off a crazy stunt Deadpool would be proud of. On October 30th, the bathrooms at the Wells Fargo Center, FedEx Forum and Nationwide Arena will all get temporary Deadpool-themed makeovers. If you’re participating in a game, make sure to at least stick your head in.

This also represents the last streaming debut for a Marvel film in 2024, as the next theatrical release from the studio is Captain America: Brave New World in February 2025. Deadpool and Wolverine’s quest through the void should keep us busy until then.
