Prince Harry has been given a three-word ultimatum to mend the rift with his family, a royal commentator has claimed.

Rupert Bell said the Duke of Sussex must “eat humble pie” after his older brother extended what some are calling an olive branch in his upcoming ITV documentary.

Mr Bell said “it would be strange” if William didn’t address his brother when he discussed it with royal podcast host Kinsey Schofield about her YouTube channel and discuss the future heir to the throne’s upcoming documentary on homelessness, which airs tonight.

Critics have debated the mention of Prince Harryis a symbol of an olive branch from William to his younger brother, amid strained relations, after Harry stepped down as senior royal in 2020.

Rupert said: “It would be strange if in this documentary he didn’t mention his brother (Prince Harry), you know, the back. I’m sure he’s sad about the break-up, because they were very close.”

He added: “They looked after each other and that’s what’s so sad about it. The only way the olive branch is going to happen is if Harry eats some serious humble pie and says I messed up.”

Prince Harry described his private life and divisions between members of the royal family in his memoir Spare, and during his Netflix docu-series with his wife, Meghan Markle.
