Man arrested in connection with shooting in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (WJW) – A man was arrested in connection with a shooting in Cleveland that left two people injured on October 22nd.

According to a press release from the Cleveland Division of Policeofficers responded to reports of shots fired in the 4100 block of Fulton Road near the Estabrook Recreation Center around 9:30 p.m.

At the scene, the police found a 27-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. She was taken to the hospital.

Another victim, a 38-year-old man, also arrived at the hospital the same day.

According to dropboth victims have since been treated and released from the hospital.

During an investigation at a nearby business, officers identified and arrested a suspect who matched the shooters’ description, according to drop.

According to dropthe 33-year-old suspect admitted to the shooting during an interview. He was then arrested.

According to dropthe suspect was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon while under disability and discharging a firearm on or near prohibited premises, on October 24.
