HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A Henry County man was arrested as part of a narcotics investigation.

According to the sheriff’s office, late on the morning of October 23, 2024, Henry County Sheriff’s deputies received information that Ronald Dave Robinette III, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, was at a home on Log Manor Road in Spencer. Deputies arrived and attempted to take him outside, and after deputies obtained a search warrant and entered the home, they found him in an enclosed area under the stairs. He was detained.

During a search of the residence, deputies discovered items consistent with possession of narcotics, which led to another search warrant, which led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale, a cell phone and two guns, according to the sheriff’s office. illegally possessed.

Robinette, 27, is currently facing contempt of court charges and is being held without bail at the Henry County Adult Detention Center.
