Tottenham defender finally breaks his silence on clash with Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham Hotspurs defender Micky Van de Ven talked about his outburst with the Ghanaian midfielder Muhammad Quds During a match against West Ham United in the Premier League.

Kudus received a red card after clashing with several Tottenham players following a foul on the Dutch defender.

The West Ham star appeared to push the Dutch defender before slapping Senegalese midfielder Pape Matar Sarr.

Van de Ven explains the incident of Jerusalem

According to Van de Ven, while he was on the ground he felt a kick behind him and as he reacted he was punched in the face by Kudus.

“I had a duel with Muhammed Kudus and I fell to the ground. I felt that he kicked the ball too much and hit me like three times. I got a little angry and stood up and pushed him. Then he literally punched me. He punched me in the face and I fell to the ground,” he said. Ghana Football Network.

“If the FA says you should be fined, that’s not my opinion. I think it should be a different situation,” he added.

Kudus is expected to respond to the accusations made against him by the English Football Federation.

Kudus sees red in West Ham defeat

Previously Ytr.com.gh reported Muhammad Kudus received a red card in the Premier League match West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspurs after beating Micky Van de Ven.

The Ghana international then fouled the Tottenham defender before getting into an altercation. He was given a yellow card before Video Assistant Review resulted in a red card.

Kudus also had an argument with Senegal and Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr.
