LeBron James Is Happy With Lakers Playing Almost Entire Game. Timberwolves

Los Angeles Lakers show up ready to play on Opening Night They achieved their first opening win of the series since 2016, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 110-103.. Anthony Davis was an absolute force on both ends of the floor; LeBron James, on the other hand, has experienced moments in his 22nd NBA season that defy what any player should do.

The Lakers didn’t shoot the ball well, but they made up for it in other ways, like crashing the offensive glass and forcing turnovers while limiting their own possessions. Most importantly, the Lakers put in a tremendous effort all night long with very few stoppages throughout the game.

And LeBron noticed it, too, and felt like the Lakers played as complete a game as they have in a long time to accomplish the most important task of the night.

“Mission No. 1 for us was to go out there and play well and win,” James said after the victory. “This was my first win as a Laker on Opening Night. I wanted to achieve this. “I think as a team we played as close to a full 48 minutes of the game as we could for a while, which was great.”

Of course, with James making history tonight, He shares the field with his son Bronny in the second quarterIt would be easy for other things to get lost in this confusion. As Davis points out, this is a common occurrence when LeBron makes history.

LeBron wasn’t blind to this either, stating that no matter how amazing the moment was, he and the Lakers were about winning first and foremost.

“Yeah, I think AD said that to some behind-the-scenes guys at the ‘Starting Five,'” LeBron added. “Every time you achieve something we lose, you have to figure that out. As I said, we found a way to live that moment tonight. And more importantly, no matter how nice it would be for us to win. This is the winning business.”

Tonight, everything fell into place for LeBron James, Bronny James and the rest of the Lakers to achieve everything they wanted on an individual and team level.

LeBron James will “never forget” sharing the court with Bronny James for the first time on the Lakers

LeBron James was clearly happy for the Lakers’ win, but make no mistake That moment with his son Bronny is something that will live in his mind forever.

“The game within the game, frankly, that moment when we are at the scorer’s table together and we control it together, is something I will never forget, no matter how old I get, no matter how poor my memory gets as I get older. I will never forget that moment.”
