In a teaser clip shared for the Tuesday, October 29 episode TLC’s Instagram accountTammy, 38, expressed concerns about the conditions of her new home. Damage was seen in the shots, including broken tiles on the floor and a dirty sink, after Chris, 43, told her to “keep her mind open”.

“I hope Chris can get the whole thing done in 30 days,” Tammy said in a confessional. “I don’t know much about things like construction. “It’s like speaking Chinese to me or a different language because I don’t understand.”

He added that despite his concerns, he was “grateful to be offered a place” to live.

While Chris was giving Tammy and Brittany a tour of the house, his wife expressed concerns about having a bar in the kitchen. He suggested removing the bar so a table could be put in its place, and became tense the moment he refused to make the change. “Eliminating this might be an option in the future, but not right now,” Chris said. “I won’t take the bar out no matter what.”

While the couple continues to argue about the layout of the kitchen, Tammy looked uncomfortable and remained silent.

“I mean, I liked the layout. “I think it would be a good place for me, but I don’t want them to fight just because,” Tammy said in a confessional. “They’re doing it on such short notice and they’re trying to rush it.”

Shortly after the clip was uploaded, many fans flocked to the comments section to wonder why Tammy couldn’t afford a home of her own. “It’s sad that they made it so that he couldn’t afford to be on his own. There are places with assisted living where he can move so he can stay on his own. Why would he live in a place like this? “He was on this show from the beginning and had his own place,” one person commented.
