Jane’s Addiction Supreme Collection is announced

What fascinating timing. Jane’s Addiction’s original lineup was out on the road ramping up to a reunion albumbut things collapsed spectacularly after violence on stage between bandmates last month. Most of the news about the band since then has been damage control from frontman Perry Farrell, whose bad behavior seems to have caused the band’s demise, and further stories that paint him in a unflattering light.

But the band’s business machine continues in some zombie-like capacity despite all indications that Jane’s Addiction is over. Days after the fight, they were released another new single. And now hypebeast fashion brand Supreme has uncovered its new Jane’s Addiction capsule collection.

When guitarist Dave Navarro was launched a Supreme brand guitar pedalI thought it was his own thing, unrelated to Jane’s Addiction business. But no, here’s this new apparel line featuring the band’s iconic imagery on sweatshirts, T-shirts, hoodies, even buttons. “American rock band Jane’s Addiction is credited with kick-starting the mainstream alternative rock era that came to define the 1990s,” the announcement begins, followed by quite a bit of bio. The collection is available on Thursday 31 October (Happy Halloween!) except in Asia, where it is available from Saturday 2 November.

Check out the collection below and don’t get caught stealing.
