DISCUSSION:

Welcome to what will be an overall enjoyable weekend. As mentioned, we started your Friday with a few showers pushing through eastern Kentucky. They will push from here as we move towards evening and night. We will remain cloudy though. That is until we enter the day on Saturday.

YOUR FIRST WARNING: NEXT WEEK’S TEMPERATURE STOP

As we head into the first half of next week, things will be unseasonably warm. We will be in the upper 60s for Monday and even in the low 70s for Tuesday. On Wednesday, we’ll drop the temps a couple of degrees with highs in the mid-60s, and then we’ll take a nose dive.

We will have a low pressure throughflow, which will lower temperatures with spikes in the upper...
We will get a low pressure push through, which will drop temperatures with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s for Thursday as well as Friday.(WYMT)

We will see a strong cold front associated with a low pressure system swing through eastern Kentucky, and will not only shift the wind out of the north and northwest, but we will go from highs near 70 on Tuesday, to highs in the mid 40s on Thursday.

This system is something that the First Alert Weather Team will be monitoring closely as some models try to paint some precipitation with this system. We may have to include a small chance of snow in the forecast.

Keep your eyes open.

Enjoy your weekend!
