ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Police are investigating the death of a man who was released from UNM Hospital with a gunshot wound.

Around 10 a.m., Albuquerque police officers were told someone dropped off a man at UNMH. That man had a gunshot wound from which he later died.

Police said they are investigating a possible location at the Loma Verde Motel. It’s near Central and Louisiana, about five miles east of UNMH.
