“When it comes to institutional trust in state organizations, the impulse to ‘rally around the flag’ remains a strong force. As before, the hierarchy of trusted institutions is led by the Russian president and the Russian army, which has nearly 80% trust. of citizens For several year, the Russian Academy of Sciences has consistently held third place in the public trust ranking, the report said.

Almost all respondents (around 90%) have full confidence in their family, while around 60% believe they can fully trust friends. At work, the level of trust is much lower, with less than 20% feeling that their colleagues are fully trustworthy.

Researchers note that since last year, trust in friends alone has increased significantly, rising by almost 12 percentage points.
