Man breaks into Subway, steals cookies and Gatorade in Middleburg Heights

MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio – Police are hoping to identify and arrest a man who broke into Subway, 6629 Engle Road, and stole a tray of cookies and three bottles of Gatorade.

It happened at 1:00 a.m. on October 30. Security video showed the man standing behind Subway. He seemed to be checking the area to make sure no one was around.

Then the man pushed against a window that opened. He climbed through the window and entered Subway, immediately heading for the cookie trays on the counter near the cash register. He uprooted all but one of the cookies.

The man then moved to the refrigerator behind the counter and took three Gatorades. He exited the building through the same window.

The man was wearing a Michael Myers mask, a dark shirt and pants, and black and white Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star shoes.

However, the man was not wearing gloves, so the police dusted the window for fingerprints. Detectives are investigating.
