Missing Chicago man found in south suburbs shot to death: coronerChicago man Arron Neal, who was found in the Dixmoor Playfield forest preserve after getting lost in West Englewood, died from multiple gunshot wounds.

CHICAGO (Wales) — The death of Chicago man Arron Neal, who went missing last weekend, was ruled a homicide after his body was found in a forest preserve in the south suburbs.

Neal’s remains were found Wednesday afternoon.

Neal was last seen leaving his grandmother’s West Englewood home on Saturday, his family said.

Chicago police said his body was found in the wooded forest preserve of Dixmoor Playfield Park District 9, in south suburban Dixmoor.

Neal died from multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said Thursday.

Further details were not immediately available.

He was last seen getting into an SUV in West Englewood on Saturday night. Neal’s family said police said his cellphone was found by a fisherman in Calumet Park.
